The game http://www.purposegames.com/game/indiana-cities-with-population-over-100000-game/info?t=3978 has 5 dots with a best time of 00.1 second. That would be quite impossible of course. Has the game been altered perhaps from 1 dot to 5 dots? It's not the first game I've seen with impossibly fast times.

Fast or impossible? (11 posts)

The really weird thing is that two people have that impossible time - the game setter and another player. So yes, I'd suspect it's as you say - that the number of dots has been altered at some point.

well obviously this is another one of hfgxg's crazy creations. Like i said before, hfgxg likes to cheat and he's done it before many times. Lakris just happened to play the game before hfgxg edited it from one dot to five. I'm starting to get tired of his creations. I think he's just wants to have more aths to become a Grand Master +(which he was not at the time he made that game), or he's jealous of all the ath's that people like sven-the-man2, Jonas, heateh, and me have. If he's trying to that he's certainly making a fool of himself at around 20 aths.

I think "cheating" is maybe too strong a word - but I agree it's very annoying when games and/or tournaments are manipulated in this way.

4 dots under 1 second is impossible. I think the dot was right at the start button when I played it.
-
That would certainly make sense, lakris. Glad you got an ath on the game.

Thank you for sorting that out, hfgxg.
While you're fixing your games, you might like to look at this one which seems to be unplayable, even though you have registered a score for it:
http://www.purposegames.com/game/cities-of-indiana-game/infoAs for your "impossible" games since - again - you are the only person to have played all except Impossible Games 2, I wonder if they need some attention as well?

Here's another game that I think was changed after someone played it:

Yes - definitely. Why do people do this?

There is no answer to that question.
