I was reading about it on this week's tournament. Happy aniversary to all players at PG (the ones who actually play regually)!!!!!

I've been here a little over a year and one month.
Doesn't seem like it's been that long -
anyone know how many of the initial members still compete regularly?

Actually, it's not the Anniversary of PG, just of the tournament.
You can check out the people who played the first tournament here:

And change the last number to 3, 4, 5... to see later tourneys.
Mr. Samsonite won the first one.
Oh, if you set that last number to 1, David won the first tourney. But he was also the only one to play (it was a test).
That first (real) tourney again is here:
<a href="

PG as a whole goes back to about mid May of 2006, but until January of 2007, nobody but David could make games. And even from these earlier anniversaries, there are still quite a few of the early players/game makers standing. Folks like me came along a bit later.
So there are several anniversaries for PG, all worth mention and celebration.

Well put Tickers, bravo. But, you used to be a regular tournament participant, too...
As an addendum, look up the first fifty members:

There are still a few original members kicking around. It seems PurposeGames is not that bad for your health after all.
Best wishes to all and happy (tournament) birthday...
