And you can always add people to your lists.

Yes, the counters can get a bit off from time to time as they get cached to handle the traffic to the site better.
They reset frequently and should eventually reflect the true state.
Working on a better way of handling this.
Your current records now show your 4 friends and the 5 public games you have so far created.
