I have made a number of challenges, and I think you are right that they predate Huggie's.
Mine have mostly been to have a little fun with minor site glitches, as when the counter showed Adam as having made a negative number of games. So I featured one of his games in a challenge. There was another built around an "invisible player", and I think that involved one of Braniest's games.
I have done a couple since then, but I haven't been doing this regularly.
I don't have a problem with you or Huggie or anyone else borrowing the concept.

Sorry, I meant to address that last remark specifically to edi68815, not alPINIA. (Although it is really for anyone who cares to read it, anyway). The main point is still the same: I'm not offended by Huggie18 or alPINIA or anyone else making private challenges. Why should I have all the fun? I guess if it becomes a problem on the site, David will shut it all down. I'm guessing that's not going to happen.

Tickman had the whole idea, I know that. But alPHINA is doing the exact same thing as me. Nods & a 5 star rating on a game which is actually good.
I don't mind alPHINA if you:
Create games for the challenge
or use someone elses games.Because, that is something completely different to mine.

I dont think you can patent or copyright an idea like that. It caan't be an exclusive thing, so why sweat it if someon else does it? Just ignore it, and make a better challenge (with better games, or more games). Someone else's challenge doesn't make people not play yours.
Gee, maybe all Alpina needs to do is just offer two nods in the challenge, or maybe two ratings. That wouldn't be the exact same thing...
