I'm pretty new at this but I was wondering if it is a disadvantage to use a laptop trackpad(I feel slow)? In any case, what do most people here use(particularly the ones who go ridiculously fast)?

You can buy a mouse to plug into a port, and I wouldn't surprised if the really fast players have a preference between wired/wireless mice. I like to use the trackpad, though, so I at least have an excuse for being so slow...

Now when I try to play games with a mouse I do so poorly it's like I'm using my other hand to write. I like my track pad and think I get okay times using it...but no where near as good as the speed demons on here. They are so fast!

It's not really anything special but I can't imagine using a laptop to play the games. I would get really frustrated.

Posted: 2008-04-24 21:28:51 # I don't use a laptop. Though with my limited time on one or two laptops and struggling to use the mouse on that keyboard, praise to those who can use their laptop mouse and achieve great times! I use a regular rolling ball 3 button mouse, that came with my off the shelf desktop, emachine T3508.
