If my calculations are correct (16 pages + 16 games = 16x24+16) tickman just published game no 400!
Congratulations tickman and well done!!!
Clock games or not, there is still a huge effort behind making 400 games, I should know :o)

I was thinking I was still a couple short of the mark, just by looking at the counter. Didn't bother to count the actual pages. But now I see that I am there.
We'll be seeing your 400th very soon, I am sure.
On to a combined total of 1000 for the two of us!
Heck, throw in Ronald DerGrosse and his many wonderful games, and as a trio, we're beyond that already.
And, when you consider the efforts of Equestenebrarum and Beltenebros as well as those of RDG, I feel that the two of us are in very good company.
As always, much appreciation is due to David for creating and continuing to improve PurposeGames.
Posted: 2008-02-24 01:29:20 # The last time I looked at Tickman's Clock it was 393...now we have the 400 Club and I'm sure that Niklas will be there in a few days knocking on the door! Congrats to both of you! There are a few game creators out there in addition to the ones mentioned....Doffa, Brainiest, Antonio Epic, Dal, Peto and Josue are great contributors. I've also noted a few from Smirge. I'm sure there are many others too. With 4000 games on this site, a person would have to average over 10 plays a day just to cover the old games, not to mention the new ones. Therefore, I have to give a big applause to the people who play our games and do not necessarily create. Bobolo has played these games 12,845 times. If each took one minute, he has clocked 212 hours or nine continuous days playing. Sarah has played games 11,350 times and is Speedee!!!! Kathy has played 6132 and always has great words of encouragement. And then, there is David who is responsible for it all. Hats off to all! The group effort makes this a valuable place on the Internet.

Can't leave out the other high play Gamers like Martinelmejor, Alexloulou, Archilles, Sergei Dave, Cris 51 and Husker Josh who have high play numbers near or over 10,000. They are usually on the first page of the tournament usually. And where is Thomsiboms lately? Also, if one of your games gets a comment from Famisamis it is always on the encouraging side and always makes you feel like it was worth the effort making that game.
Posted: 2008-02-24 06:11:31 # To be honest, I feel pretty guilty about not creating any games. But I'm pretty illiterate when it comes to computers, seeing them mainly as word processors, a speedy form of communication, and a source of endless games-playing fun! But rest assured, I really appreciate the efforts of all the games creators on PurposeGames.com, particularly RDG, Niklas, and Tickman.
Posted: 2008-02-24 11:52:38 # Ditto on RDG's & Niklas' comments about the additional game-makers and those who play so many games. As I've discussed with both Niklas and Ronald, it is only when people play our games that we feel it worthwhile to make them.
BoboLo: Don't feel guilty: You pull your own weight here by playing so much.
