Posted: 2006-12-05 06:02:48 # Some of the scores on this site are unbelievable. I have played Africa about a million times and I can get 100% every time. But no matter how many times i try i cannot break 1min 03secs.
The fastest player on this game is something like 45 seconds - a full 18 seconds faster than me!
I just can't understand how anyone can do this so quickly, so I am asking the top players to post videos of themselves on YouTube finishing a game in 'top-ten' time. I need to see it with my own eyes to believe it!

Though I believe that the players on this site are actually playing that fast it would be loads of fun to see it as it happens.
I have no clue of how much I could really press my own times. I'm quite sure though that I'm nowhere near Angela, Alex, Pelle, SigurdH, Rip, MrSamsonite, Vic and some of the other fast ones frequenting this site. I'm totally in awe of their score boards.
Anyhow, it wouldn't look that good if I held the number one spot of my own games. So, if for no other reason I’m out of the leader board discussions by default for that reason. :)
But seriously folks, step up to the plate and bring on some video of how fast you are really playing the games. That would certainly be worthwhile watching!

I've tried two screen capture devices with several video settings, and it didn't seem to capture the quick mouse gestures, even with a frame rate of 30 or higher. In addition, Youtube slightly deteriorated the hight/width ratio. It's without sound too.
This one is 50.1 secs. I have recorded a 48,7 score as well (with all the screen capture tries :) )
Oh, yeah, there's a trial version thingy in the middle. But you get the idea.
I shall try to make one with sound and with better proportions.

SigurdH came in and blew my old time (over 40 seconds) away, I couldn't believe that score so I set out to at least match it. It took a lot of time, but there you go...work is SLOW right now, so I have lots of time :-).
Where's your score on The States of the USA? You've got to be good at it. I'm slowly but surely working my way through the world. Before I started this I had a vague idea of where Bolivia was, but my international geography wasn't up to snuff. This site is awesome. Now I just need to master Asia...
