how do i turn my file into JPG format? (3 posts)

    I tried to post a picture to use in a game from the paint program on my computer. how can i make it work for my game?

    Many programs will allow you to convert from one format to another. PowerPoint is a good example: most people have it, and it will save things in JPEG.

    I'm sort of surprised your paint program wouldn't allow you to convert to some format that would work, via the "save as" function.

    If you are working towards a picture for your profile, it shouldn't be too hard to do that. If you're trying to make a game, it can take a few tries to get the hang of it, but you'll manage.

    In the latter case, you might see my old thread and game about using PowerPoint to make games. (It's not what I usually use, but again, it is widely available). The thread also has comments by others regarding alternative programs.
