Like SergeiDave, I found Purposegames through www.chessbase.com. Since then, it's become an addiction, so Tickman's idea of Purposegames Anonymous holds genuine appeal!

Purposegames was reviewed there, which is how I came across it - and, like BoboLo, it is my cool little obsession. Definitely a better addiction than alcohol or nicotine, I can't help thinking!

And that's how it began for me :P
Posted: 2008-04-13 13:39:17 # Hola!

Posted: 2008-07-12 20:06:09 # I found purpose games in a google search. I am a widowed mother with four children who is working on her AA degree. I am taking an online class.......Geography, and I was completely lost after the preview test, I got a 60%! I just couldn't get the picture. Then my 15 year old daughter told me to google geography quizes and I have been getting A's on all my quizes so far. Now I am working on Russia and the Near Abroad and I couldn't find any quizes, so I made one, that was easier that I thought, and now it is my study tool. THANX
Posted: 2008-07-12 23:05:23 # I found it on this vicious message board I frequent (http://www.phlogredux.org). We were looking for geography quizzes because we were trying to show off to each other or something. Someone found Purposegames and I got hooked.
I've made two games so far: one about naming the current governors of the states of the U.S. (because I'm a total political nerd,) and another about identifying the settings of 25 TV shows in the U.S. Fun site!

Posted: 2008-07-27 16:54:43 # I found it on Google searching for a site where you could create your own geography games. I found my answer with PG!
Posted: 2008-08-04 10:46:40 # I didn't actually find this website on my own. My geography teacher informed us that every few days, he would give us a quiz on the countries of one continent (it was a different continent each time). He recommended this website to study from, so I checked it out. I was hooked the first time I played the Countries of Europe by David. Thanks to PurposeGames, I aced all the tests on the countries, including the last one which included all the countries of the world. I've tried suggesting this website to other students, and many have signed up since then. Great idea making PurposeGames, David!
