Times played isn't displayed on the four most recent games on the home page.

Posted: 2 years ago #That's a deliberate action taken for the time being, due to caching of parts of the front page. I will improve that in a while. Meanwhile, visit the game in question to get the exact data on it.

Another thing, when looking at my games there is only as selection of page 1-5, even if I am looking at a page with a higher number.

I understand that it may be tedious to click next, next, next to get to the final page.
May need to come up with something else there. -
I know that this isn’t a competitor to other community sites such as facebook, but I really miss the possibility to make the friends list public, so you can see other members friends..

I think that would be a good next thing to add.
Also, I really want the ability to add public play-lists or "recommendations" so that you can publicly show what games you like and so on.
Anyway, you're right. The Friends-concept needs to be worked on more now that the site is launched.

Another thing I noticed: My number of games played is at 1195, so this is different from the old number of _different_ games played (I think that I were at about 600 - 700 there).
The second number is more significant imho. Maybe we could have it back/them both?

And yet another thing ...
Looking at the profile of a member, his or her "Latest Game Played" is (still) shown. However before the update there has been information on how long ago this was, for instance "The Countries of Europe, 6 minutes ago". I miss this information.

I miss some of that data myself. I'll be sure to update the profile pages soon with the missing info, and hopefully - in time - even bring some more relevant data to it.
As you can see, the player rating is also temporarily disabled. I'm working on a performance issue that takes some time solve but it'll get there.
Meanwhile I do appreciate the feedback you are bringing. That's great. Thank you.

On the scoreboard where it lists the games I have played and my score for each, it used to show my ranking in each game (the place where I could see if I had at least one 'number one' spot). :) Would it be possible to get that back?
Also, how are the games sorted on the scoreboard now? It used to list them according to how I ranked (ie the first game listed would be the games where I ranked #1, and then #2, etc.). I haven't been able to figure out the sort order.
Thanks again, David, for your work. This latest update seems to have really made this more of a community. I'm having a lot of fun.

Some of the pictures i used for my quizzes simply disappeared ! is it just my problem ? now all I see is the terrible red cross [X].
Am I doing something wrong ?

If you run FireFox: try pressing refresh. Do you see your images again? I just quickly browsed through your games just now and I see all images just fine.

Better sorting needed in the member scoreboard (and the placement). Correct. Working on it. -
I haven't lost any picd but the pics are sorted from a-z but if I scroll further down the page there are more pics sorted a-z. What I have is two lists sorted a-z with approx. half of my pics in each list. Not a big problem but I was a bit confused at first when I couldn't find the pic. I just added.

I miss members on line and comments as they used to be on "My Games". I could see the comments at a glance. Unless I am missing something -haven't explored everything yet. It is neat to see what everyone looks like too! Great improvements.

RonaldDerGrosse, you still can see who's online by clicking on the small red number in the top right on each site, under the search field (Example: "Now online: 81 visitors, 4 members" <-- click the '4'). Tickman wrote about this somewhere, too.
You can find the latest comments on your games under My Control Panel > My Public Games (to the left) now. You have to scroll down the site where your games are listed to find the section "Latest Comments to Your Games". Hope that helps.

Equestenebrarum, That was a big help. I just didn't scroll far enough to the end of the games and I read Tickman's note on "Who's on line".

A search for "Shape" returns no results, "shape" (written all in small letters) works fine. Same for "USA"/"usa", no game is found for "USA" (caps), and other searches with capital letters. (This applies to searches for games only; user and forum searches seem all right.)

would it be possible to place the label with the text in a way sensible to the position, so that the text will not be cut if the dot is positioned to the far right of the quiz area ?Thanx

it's me again
I don't know what i am doing wrong but here's my problem with multpile choice quiz:
i wrote the first 4 or 5 questions, after each of them i tried to save and it told me i can't because there arent questions enough. ok . (Please, change this: i would like the game were saveable [?] and not publishable, so that i do not lose work)
Then i wrote 3 other questions, after each of them i saved and received the green OK.
I started writing the 9th question and i was unsure i had already written that one, so i choosed "previous question" some times and .... argh... i saw that many but not all of the preceding questions were empty.I think it is a bug...

I'm now aware of there being a possible bug in the Multiple choice creation module and also that the profile pages lack some data and sorting, also that there's a request for Latest Players to be shown for a game. I'll look into it soon.
