Continuing with the theme of encouraging new game makers, I am providing 3 possible titles in each of the 8 game categories, for a total of 24 suggested games. Below are listed some resources and hints which should help people make these games. Some will suggest additional games not present in my “Games You Can Make” game, so there are really more than 24 games suggested here. Some will be easy, others more difficult to make.
I would like to suggest (in order to avoid duplication), that if you intend to make one of these games, leave a note in the appropriate thread in the forum to indicate what you are making. That way, someone else won’t be scooped.
I also request that if you’ve already made 10 or more games, give other people a reasonable chance (say, 2 weeks) to make these games. After that, consider it open season.
Finally, I suggest you properly attribute any pictures you use. It’s good to attribute information sources as well, just so people can find it.
Oh, this is long, so I’m dividing it into three threads, as you will see.
Science games:
Bird Anatomy.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bird , where there is a good picture. Oh, I’ve already done the one with the beaks, so just do the one with the general anatomy.
Shark fins.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shark In this case, I’ve already done the one with the general anatomy, but the picture with the fins is still not done.
Levee.

Entertainment games:
These could be text-based games. Picture-oriented would also work, but would be more difficult.
John Wayne Characters by Name.
Given the clue of the movie title, find the corresponding character’s name. Or, given the name, find the movie title. Go to Wikipedia or a John Wayne website for information. This kind of game could be done for anybody who was in a lot of movies.
Who was Bond?
Given the movie title, who played James Bond? There’s enough Bond movies now to make this a viable game. This could be done with any fictional, real or legendary figure who appears in many movies (or TV programs). So who played Waytt Earp, Robin Hood (include Daffy Duck), Davey Crocket, etc. etc. With the Arthurian legends (Camelot), you could do one for each main character: Arthur, Merlin, Lancelot, etc. (And don’t forget to include Monty Python and the Holy Grail….) Google searches, Movie databases or Wikipedia might get you a good start on games of this type.
Bogart’s Leading Ladies:
Given the title of the Bogart movie, who played the female lead? This could be done for any major actor or actress (e.g., who were the male leads for Julia Roberts in her movies?)
