sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know who I am writing to right now... this is the ONLY thing I could find to express my request..... PLEASE allow a way to TURN OFF THE SOUND!!!!!!!! I'm more frustrated by the lack of ability to communicate than my original complaint, which is the sound.

Kristk is right about the sound feature. But it is rather obscure, in faded gray and down in the corner. If you know where it is it works fine, but if not, you might easily overlook it.

David is updating the site, and I know that he checks the forum and is receptive to suggestions. So perhaps that feature will be improved in the next version.

Maybe if the sound control were more colorful and "buttonish", it would be easier for people to find without having it pointed out to them.

Re: communication; I'm afraid there's not much to be done about that. David is one person, and can't respond immediately and individually to every problem. (But as noted above, he will consider reasonable suggestions.)

The forum is a bit of a slow response, but members are willing to help, as Kristk has just proven.

There is a FAQ (Link in upper right of each page on the site), but as of now, doesn't contain the kind of "how to" information you are looking for. Perhaps that will also be addressed in the future.
