David,
I know GeoQuiz is not your main focus in life, but I have a suggestion for future games: States of Mexico and 25 Cities of Mexico.

I'll see what I can do about it in a future release of new games.

Perhaps you could have people make '25 Cities of [Country]' for their own countries. One person per country, and the possibility of feedback on city placement by others. You could let them place the cities on a template of their country. They could then send it back for check-up and technical implementation.
Would be cool if that were possible and it wouldn't need to be too fancy.

I've been thinking about something along those lines myself.
I apprecitate the input. I'll see what I can do about making something like that happen.

Posted: 2006-11-13 03:26:58 # Evolving the games into flags, currencies etc is one direction.
The direction I'm looking into right now is to have users create their own games, directly online. You would simply get an empty map as base template (choose between the different continents or one of the countries/states) and then drag and drop the blue dots on to the map, adding text on what they should represent, press 'save' and that's that.
This has the added benefits of letting a user create games in his own language, create games that would otherwise not get created such as Forumla1 race tracks around the world, Whisky distilleries in Scotland, soccer stadiums in Europe etc etc.
Well, I'll see what I can do about it anyways... I'm just starting looking into it so I wouldn't want to give a time estimate for it yet though, or even say if it's possible from a practical point of view. :)

Why not retain only the top score of each player per game? A player's other scores are essentially irrelevant, and that would avoid the domination of a game by one or two players whose scores vary by only fractions of a second...

Cool that I found it; when I first found this website (less than 3 weeks ago), I loved the games, but when I found the "create a game" feature, I just thought "Now, this is truly an awesome idea!". I guess I'm obsessed with historical facts and statistics, nevermind... Awesome website, David!!
