I edit this and put it here, to make it easier to read.

    To Mano308gts,
About your comment about old comments:
There are such a huge amount of games now, that even good games tend to get lost. That's a pity. But you're doing game creators a big favour, if you comment their games. At least speaking for myself, I love to see comments, at least if they are written in good humour...

As a creator of many games my experience is thar a game gets most of its comments when it is new.

When it comes to errors this is natural because they tend to get fixed pretty soon but a good game usually stays just that, but votes and nice comments are few and far between after a while.

My guess is that the most of the very active members are the ones who play a game when it is new and the ones that are most likely to come with remarks about the things that I have gotten wrong or have done well. But this is only half the explanation, PG gets new members all the time so even the old games are new to them but doesn't get that many comments.

Could it be that people agree with the old comments and don't feel like writing the same thing again?

Most people don't bother to comment at all. And as Niklas points out, most comments are from when the game is new.

Also, if a game is featured in one way or another (main Tournament, other tournament, Game of the Day, "games played a lot today"), it may get new comments even if it is old.

And sometimes, two players will compete with each other on a game, and start leaving messages for each other on the game. My favorite such was some good bantering between oregonianredbird and iLOVEgeology on this game:

    Very entertaining.

I usually leave comments after all games that I like, but I didn't want to spoil this wonderful row of comments.
