About that PurposeGames addiction:

Tough luck there.

I hope I don't get it.

Doh!

Thanks for the info! And I will give David a nod. I'm becoming addicted this site.

Yes, Tick, as for my avatar, it's the Venus of Willendorf (doncha love the name?) to whom, unfortunately, I bear a striking resemblance -- except for the hair. /:-$ If only I was born in pre-historic times. (Although I may have been sacrificed or something.)

A nod is when you like another member enough to give that person a sort of "pat on the back".

It's anonymous, so nobody knows who nodded who, but the cumulative total shows up on each member's profile. Often (but by no means always), people who give nods to one another have also selected each other as friends.

You can make up to 5 nods per month.

So really, it's a way of saying "nice high score", "great tournament showing", "thanks for your help", "that's a great-looking game", and the like.

Hint:

Be sure to give one to David: he made the site and deserves it.

BTW, interesting avatar. A stone-age Venus figurine, I presume?

Good Luck, and Good Games,
