I think I agree with all of you. Its good to compare, but yes you do need to know if your creating a unique game before you make it. Exellent thoughts.

I agree. Though I must say that when the Countries of the Caribbean appeared again a couple of days ago, it was interesting to compare speed and performance with the already existing game - the new one was more spread out and made it harder to score the same or better time - I set myself a challenge and eventually broke my best time on the existing game.

There has been a lot of duplicate games published recently, maybe there should be a recommendation under 'create' to search for similar games before creating a new one. I think that it is unnecessary that people go through all the trouble of creating a game that already exists.
