HAHAHAHAHAHAHA hello there

tickman  1 year ago

Sorry I missed your reply to my message until now. The right hand cut-off problem I refer to was just one dot (the triangular prism) in the 3-D shapes game.

One dot with cut-off text isn't much of a problem, I just wanted to let you know about the potential problem since it is something that does affect many games. In some cases, it is unavoidable, and unless there are many dots affected, it's not that much of a concern.

Since you were new here at that time, I just thought I'd let you know in case you didn't already know. You could actually fix the dot in question fairly easily, but as it is only the one, I don't know that you'd want to bother with it.

BTW, I think you're doing very good games, and it's good to see this subject area being addressed here.

Again, sorry for the delay in response.

Regards,

Tickman.

PLEASE Don’t take this the wrong way but when you write it sounds like a nerd when I say that I’m trying to be nice and just let you know before some one says some thing that would hurt your feelings because that would be totally uncalled for and I’m 100% against being mean to people (ouch my laptop just hit me in the head) (sorry) so if u took this the wrong way I’m sorry

Re: Misspelled Words Game
Thanks for your note. That particular list of common misspelled words is a bit older than the present Merriam Webster and this edition does allow for harebrained and licence. Language is always a living thing and what was yesterday's "dyed in the wool decisions" are overridden by people today and accepted everywhere. My son and I were playing Scrabble and the word "mic" came up. I always used the abbreviated form for microphone as "mike" and was absolutely surprised when I saw "mic" on the Internet as acceptable. (Webster stills holds out.)

Thanks, Sam. It's all coming back to me now.

To 5678, thank you for your comment. I have fixed my game and by the way a special triangle is a right triangle with the interior angles of 45-45-90 or 30-60-90.

I have changed all my categories to Science, but I am not sure which game is a problem with dot placement.

I tried 3D co-ordinates, deliberately choosing incorrect answers and everything seemed fine. Was it another game?
