Did you notice that Google put Austrian ads on your home page!

In order to get that message to me you need to click on my name and you will be able to put it on my page where I can see it. The only time I was in Voralberg was on the train passing through to other areas of Europe. Green in Austria is the greenest green that I have ever seen and the country is beauty personnified. I hope to some day return for a visit!

I teach high school German and also lived in Austria, but further west than Innsbruck-- in Vorarlberg. What a wonderful country it is! Of course most Vorarlbergers feel more connected to Switzerland than to Vienna :-) I loved the odd dialect since you didn't need to know the gender of a word. Do you have more trouble memorizing the gender of a noun, or knowing how/when to change it based on its function in a sentence?

In the Search at the top of the page, type in German and your students can play additional German games for a total of 79 at present. I made some of these also since I lived in Innsbruck for three years and went to the University of Innsbruck years ago. Too bad I didn't have Purpose Games at that time to make German easier to learn. I still have trouble with der, die and das, des, den and dem. Do you teach high school or college German?
