Since you are world traveled you have experienced many variations on breakfast from the full course spread in the USA to coffee and a semel in Germany, a bowl of coffee with milk and bread in France to a grand combination of breads from hard to soft throughout Italy.....or Lachs and cheeses in Norway overlooking a beautiful fiord. The world offers a cornucopia of cuisines and that is what makes travelling fun. I always like to try the house specialty. When I was in Amsterdam I had an Indonesian Rikstafel (not sure of the spelling) but did not have the nerve to ask about what I was eating in those 12 bowls! Breakfast is one meal that I never miss and it is always a hearty one, lunch light and supper a full course spread.
