Hey I really like many of your games. I think you might benefit from taking a graphic communications course or learning about photo editing programs through books or tutorials. Photoshop is a common one, though it costs a lot unless you pirate it, there is an open source clone of it that I have been using called Gimp. Once you learn to use them, they are very powerful. For example you could use them to change colors on parts of your maps, or resize them by changing the canvas size so that the final picture you upload is not distorted.
