I couldn't agree more with Tickman! It's all just about having fun here, and any criticisms should be taken positive. People can be rude sometimes, but hey..... what's new? Just let it go and enjoy......

Well, I'd still advise against just quitting. As far as your group goes, that's a matter of how difficult it is to host a group, make a tournament, etc. It does take some work to do, and it may not be worth the trouble.

Really, nobody else can select games for you. Your picks should represent your interests. Just pick games you like. If it is a lot of trouble, make your tournaments last a month so you've got time to work on it.

As far as your games go, I see that you've gotten a number of comments. Most of them should be taken as constructive criticisms. Most of your games could be fixed with a bit of effort, and would be decent games. But as it stands, people don't like them because of the spelling problems, and because many of the dots are in the wrong places. These are all things that can be corrected.

I get a lot of comments pointing out errors in my games, and I try to correct them. Mostly, people are just trying to be helpful when they make comments like that--they're trying to help you improve your games.

Finally, I'd like to point out that nobody needs to make games or host groups. Both of those things take time and effort. But as long as you like to play games, you can still enjoy this site. In fact, this is what most people do. Notice that there are currently almost than 33,600 members, but only about 17,000 games. Even counting for people with several accounts and many inactive members, that means most people don't make games. The top 4 game makers (by number of games) account for something like 1926 games--morfe than 10%.

Likewise, there are currently fewer than 167 groups, and some people have created more than one group.

Clearly, most people are here only to play the games.

I join already 4 groups, and I think that's enough. I'm sure not against your group, I've decline more groups before.

OK, I see you get some critical comments and you got some from me as well. Don't be insulted! People aren't primarily trying to attack your knowledge about spelling or geography.

It is important, however, that the games you make are reasonably correct - at least if you make them public. Otherwise you might end up feeding people who play your games misinformation. I don't think less of someone for not knowing where Warsaw is exactly but it isn't a good idea to put it in a game unless you do. Or look it up in Wikipedia, that's also good. If you're playing around and don't feel like looking things up, that's also fine if you keep the games as private,

I haven't made a lot of games but the ones I did I needed help from WIkipedia to make sure that the dots ended up reasonably near the real locations.

google maps? map24.com? or look at google.com for other site's.

You can check the right places on a digital map, and than you can change that by edit your game! Good luck and see ya at PG.
