Nice games.
Now we don't need to argue about city proper vs metro pop. with other players, we can just direct them to the other game(s) :)
I think there are newer pop. numbers since I created my games, I'll have a look to see what has changed.

Thanks for the comment on the Landlocked Countries of the World game.
Kosovo is internationally recognized by some (about 1/3) of the world's nations, and not by the other 2/3. that 2/3 represent most of the world's people including 2 permanent members of the UN security council (Russia and China) and other large nations: India, Mexico, Brazil, etc.
Re: Macedonia, the long form of the name "former Yugoslav Republic of..." doesn't fit the text block. That form is rarely used anymore, anyway.
The Hellenic Republic objects to both other forms, as that country also has a Macedonia, as does Bulgaria. Nevertheless, both of these forms are in common usage today. "Republic of" lets you know I'm not talking about a Greek or Bulgarian region. As far as I can tell, there is no one correct, agreed-upon name here.
Needless to say, I can't go into such lengthy considerations in making a game here. It all has to fit the text block.
You gotta love the Balkans. So much is disputed. I hope someday all the disputes and conflicts are resolved peacefully. But I'm not holding my breath: much of this goes back many, many centuries...
Thanks again, and sorry for the long-winded explanation.

Thanks for your comment on my "State Name Etymologies--European Languages" game.
For many PGers, this is fairly difficult. There are a lot of kids here. I try to make games of various degrees of difficulty. Some much more complex than this one, some very simple. I didn't find it difficult: not that many dots, and I made the game...
The reason California's etymology is uncertain is because it is not known with certainty whether it is a direct etymology from a word meaning, or in reference to a mythological or fictional place. In fact, the language isn't even a "lead pipe cinch".
Spanish is the most likely language of origin,(with several possible meanings) but theories also include other languages:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Origin_of_the_name_California
The reason I give references is so people can track down more information. I can almost never give enough info in the short text fields allowed in the game. Anything with a complex explanation (or even just a long name) requires an abridged text. That's far beyond what can be done in a game here.
Most people really don't care about the topic: they just want to play the game. For those who do, I give them somewhere to look for more info. Usually that's Wikipedia, which is a decent (but by no means perfect) source. Most Wiki articles have additional references listed. I doubt that many people use my references, but I know that some do.

The CSA-game: I didn't create the map myself, I got it from Wikipedia.
The Skyline-game: Not one of my best games but there is always a problem with copyrights, but as you say, there are better images.
Thanks for your feedback, it is appreciated.

You are invited to join my group, Slaaty's Slipstream, where I gather games of various creators, usually with some unifying theme, into Tournaments usually lasting about 10 days.
The fourth tournament, Creators' Own Favorites, features 8 games by 8 creators, each of them one of the favorites of s/he who created it. There are bound to be some you will enjoy. It is early enough in the life of my group, that competitive joiners can still get in the mix on the leaderboard, but I like to distribute kudos and nods as well to other participants who impress me, whether fast or not.
To accept, simply follow this link directly to Slaaty's Slipstream, and click Yes to join. All are welcome!
Creators whose games featured this time:
Dal, asae, Niklas, Alcyone, apokar, Wentu, Sab, & Doffa
Regardless, do check out more of my games - I've been busy!
