Ah, I see you've been looking at Snavelaar's beautiful photography. And yes, that's a church in Iceland, but no, not one I go to. I live in the capital, this one is located in the far-away Westfjords :) I happened to travel through them all last summer!

That's why I feel exceptionally stupid for not remembering which church this is...I just browsed through my photos from the summer and couldn't find it anywhere. And being an architecture student, I tried to photograph all the beautiful buildings, especially churches! So I'm really astonished. I'm gonna ask Snavelaar of its exact location, so I can be more help, sorry about this!
