Plux:

Thanks for your comment on my "Human Respiratory System (Advanced)" game.

I did it that way to avoid the too-long clue syndrome. (e.g., "Right Superior Lobar Bronchii").

Sometimes long clues to not show up completely in the text block. Also, long (even not very long hints on a wrong response get cut off on the right side).

What I sometimes do in such cases is to leave part of the original text in place, as I did here. There are a number of my games using this device.

Long after I made this game, I found out that the clues would have fit anyway, but just barely (my fault for not checking it first). However in many of my games, it is absolutely necessary to do it this way.

So your observation is correct, but at this point it is too late to change the background.
