Thanks, nissonic. I'm really not THAT fast, I just had a few good games. Once one the really good players takes an interest in the same game as me, I'm usually out of contention.
I've been meaning to take a run at your longer games. Unlike my good friend Itachi, I have no connections to the Japanese language, so I'm learning from scratch when I try those. One day I'll tackle them.
I notice you're picking up quite a few ATHs lately. Well done!

Well done beating me in your latest game - the Asia one. It's also good to see that when (if?) I take back that ATH I won't be taking your last.

25 ATHs! I wonder how long it will last...
(I write this for my own memory)

Hej!
Tack.

I still can't beat your time on Kanji 3 but CarpeDiem is still faster.
I like the new game. I expect you will be able to beat my time so I will wait for that and then do it again but faster.

How old are you?
Itachi September 26, 2008
I can't PM you unless you add me as a friend. I'll tell you about Japan by PM.

I think practice is a great reason for creating these games but then if you stick to your rule about not playing your own games you won't be able to make use of them as practice tools. I say go for it. Knowing the answers only helps for the first few tries at a game. Once you've played a game a few times, you've learned all the answers and it becomes a game of memory and reflexes. Take CarpeDiem for example, I'm pretty sure he can't read anything but English but he's competing with me for the top score in your Kanji games. He just learned the answers by pattern recognition and then he used his fast reflexes to challenge me for the best time. Play your games!

HELLO
Thanks for your comments on my games about provinces of Sicily and Sardinia.
They were good maps, and when I find good maps (or other backgrounds), I like to use them.
There are a lot of other games on the site with provinces of various countries / subnational regions. A quick search for "province" using the function at the upper right of each PG page will bring up many usch games, some of them by me.
Or, if it is things Italian you like, then search for terms like: Italy, Italian, Rome and Roman.
You'll find much there, too. A lot of that will be by Niklas or me. We seem to have been trying to nail down Italian history, especially.
Thanks again for the nice comments, and for playing my games.
Regards,
Tickman
