Hey, thanks Pannonicus! I fixed all these problems except for Masaccio and Expulsion from Paradise because it wouldn't fit. By the way, I did look at some of your quizzes and I think they're brilliant.

I played your European history quiz and I enjoyed it. You asked for comments and I will give a few.

First, you may consider giving a more specific title to your quiz: it is on the Renaissance, so why not call it a Renaissance history quiz? People will know better what they can expect.

Machiavelli was both a humanist and a political writer, so I think that both alternative answers are correct. Moreover, he is not really a 15th-century writer: his Principe dates from 1516. Castiglione is not really a 15th-century writer, either: he lived from 1478 tot 1529 and wrote his Cortegiano in 1528.

Chaucer is a late medieval rather than a Renaissance writer, even though he draw inspiration from Boccaccio.

Masaccio may be most famous for his Expulsion from Paradise.

Did some words get lost in the formula "Altered from Byzantine style to paint more"?

Finally, it would be more correct to say that the Brethren of Common Life originated in the Netherlands, or in the Low Countries, rather than in Holland, which in this time can only refer to the county of that name, in which Groote did not live.

I hope you find these comments helpful. Did you see my game on Renaissance humanism?
