So blown out that I've written 'know' instead of 'now' - call myself a writer, pah!

I think I'm all blown out - over to you know!

Are New Zealanders called kiwis?

Yes, I agree with you. The games that Pannonicus creates are always challenging, and fun to try. There is always something to learn. Well, I am getting better. I notice that you are a teacher. I am a teacher as well. I am at an elementary school. I just finished teaching summer school this week.

Congratulations on the Cambridge Colleges. I was going as fast as my hands would go, but I knew that you would be ahead of me the next day :-)

And then today is a big writing day. I want to see if I can't bang out 6,000 words on Russia-China relations. It won't happen of course, but I'll give it a stab!

Too good! I'm done for this week. For some reason, I can't seem to match my old times; in a couple of cases, I'm even a whole couple of seconds slower!

Thank you Kathy! Not all my games are that difficult, but I am happy to know that you like the excruciating ones, too.

Thank you Kathy! I had been reading one of Jonathan Franzen's essays published in "How to be Alone" and was inspired to make some sort of declaration to the world after reading the following passage:

... I began making unhelpful calculations, multiplying the number of books I'd read in the previous year by the numbers of years I might reasonably be expected to live, and perceiving in the three-digit product... a measure of the incompatibility of the slow work of reading and the hyperkinesis of modern life. All of a sudden it seemed as if the friends of mine who used to read no longer even apologized for having stopped. A young aquaintance who had been an English major, when I asked her what she was reading, replied: "You mean linear reading? Like when you read a book from start to finish?"

I thought the idea of a NZ realm amusing, too, but apparently it is the official designation... I am not quich enough with the mouse either, hence my low rank in my own games as well as those of others!
