Thanks for your comment on the "50 Largest Subnational Entities (2005)" game.
It took a bit of work to make that game (but not my most difficult by far), so I appreciate the comment.
Be looking for the next one, which will be the 50 largest in population.
Thanks again.

Yes, the same thing happened to me, I got 7/8 right in the prelemenaries.

And yes I did hear about the 11 year old. Check out bostongopher, he's a member of this site that also competed in the state level of the national geographic bee in Massachusetts. You might have met him there:)

I made it to the state level in Illinois. I got 7/8 of the preliminary questions (my 8th question was tricky)

Did you hear about the 11-year old who won it all?
geodude May 27, 2008
Frenchhorn I was in the geobee too, I made it to the Massachusetts state level, and got out there. What about you?

Hi Geodude:
You asked about my game 'Not Where You Think.'
"Is there any logic in this or is it random?"
The logic is that each of these city names is well known. The trick is that I've chosen relatively unknown (or at least lesser-known) cities which correspond to these names. In most cases, I had numerous choices of alternate cities to pick from. I tried to spread them out around the map.
Really, it's nothing but learning the off-locations as they appear in the game. Not very logical, just kind of a challenge.

Tickman
Thank you! I really enjoy your games - keep up the good work!
