It's difficult if you don't know the readings for the kanji, but it's still a great study tool. Thanks for making it.

Grand Sumo is something that I know very little about. I saw that you had created some games, and wanted to try one. I'll look at the others on another day. It was nice to play your game.

The source for these photos is Doitsuyama's sumo reference site which can be accessed through www.sumoforum.net. Various sumoforum members contributed these photos and I will remove them if they request it. On the other hand, I hope they enjoy this game.

I'll leave this up for a while but I've completed the full version with all 42 rikishi from the top division and you can find it easily by browsing my list of games or checking the recent games if you do it now.

Penticton is right between Lake Okanogan and Skaha Lake. Skaha forms its southern boundary while Lake Okanogan lies to the north.

If your browser is set up to display Japanese writing properly then you will be able to see the names clearly.

This is just a test. My plan is to make a game with all of the top division rikishi (all 42 of them) but it will take some time to get all the photos and arrange them for the game.
The images here were clipped from Doitsuyama's amazingly comprehensive sumo reference site which can be accessed through the sumo forum (www.sumoforum.net).
I haven't asked permission to use these photos but I will remove them if the owner of the images objects to their use in this game.

Maybe it's just me, but I think Pentington should on the eastern side of Lake Okanagan.

What the f***? I couldve sworn I got 100 percent last time I played. Hmm? That's a little suspicious. What are the sections in the province, like counties?

Revelstoke should be further west.

When I played the game, the names seemed to be messed up, there were only squares instead of letters.

I'm sure I can do it faster but there no one to compete with yet.

Somehow when I was preparing the map, making sure neighbouring wards had different colours, I ended up with an extra ward. The one in the middle with a dot on the border between a blue one and a purple one is representing one ward that got split into two during the colouring process. If any other errors are noticed, please let me know so I can fix them.

a very hard map. it is a good map but there are so many dots. and the dots are very close to each other. :)

I finally got it. I'm sure it can be done a lot quicker once the locations are learned but I will stop here and hopefully someone else will take up the gauntlet.

Is it possible to edit game and add the English name of the ward next to the Kanji?
Great game for study tool, but my Kanji so poor I was just guessing by process of elimination :(
