Which description best fits the smiley?
Smileys are open to interpretation, so these may not fit with what you're used to, so I apologise in advance for that.

Match the quadratic function to its graph. Beware! I am unable to use plus signs so I have had to rearrange.

TBH until this discussion came up, I didn't know that trapezium had 2 completely opposite definitions.
So here's a puzzle for you. Which version do YOU think I used?

So are you using the British or American definition of trapezium?

It can be whatever you want it to be!
It can be
p^2 + q^2 = r^2
or
r^2 = p^2 + q^2
as long as the hypotenuse is the one that is on its own.

These are fun to do but have a limited appeal. Of those that are interested, some can complete them in about 10 seconds. :P
If I put too many graphs on one set of axes, it becomes too crowded and nigh on impossible.
I am working on a cubic one and will look into a trig one too!

Great games :P
Continuing on the themes of graphs, what do you think about creating one with all the common trigonometric graphs, and/or popular polynomials.

This is a great exercise! It really made me think, and I didn't have to remember formulas.
