Does the USA have different names for some of these such as spaghetti, linguini, and fettucini (all by size)? Penne looks like canneloni And Orzo looks like the small one.

the difference between cannelloni and penne are: cannelloni have smooth surface (while penne usually have striations), they're bigger and they're always stuffed with some other food (at least here in italy!). maybe the pic is bad sorry. yeah and there are lot of types of pasta like spaghetti; as you said we have liguine, fettuccine also bucatini etc... and i'm not sure about pasta orzo, never heard of it! tempestine (the smaller ones) are used in soups.
