World Fossil Sites - Game Information

Hey, no problem with the misunderstanding. Thanks for reporting a possible error to me. If you ever find anything suspect in my games, please let me know so I can fix the problem(s).

Most people who make games here will fix mistakes if they are made aware of them. A few will ignore corrections, but they are in the minority.

In this case, it is a problem with similar names, and there are also some formations that spread through several countries (i.e., the Permian Red Beds of southern Africa).

In any case, thanks for making the effort to let me know: it is appreciated.

My sincere apologies. I thought the "Dinosaur Park" site was Dinosaur Nat'l. Park in NE Utah (in the USA). I was not previously aware that there was a Dinosaur Park Formation in Alberta, Canada. Given the (reasonable) scale of your map, I assumed that you'd placed the dot on the wrong side of the border. I was wrong.

I've checked with my source.

None of the dots were in the wrong country. A couple (e.g. the Gogo Formation in Australia, Joggins Fossil Cliffs in Canada) were slightly amiss, but still in country. So these 2 relatively minor shifts have been made.

This could have been laid out much better. Several of the marked sites aren't even in the correct country.

Wow, that was really interesting. I had never seen so many red dots on one game hahaha
