Some studies show that if words are misspelled, it doesn't matter that much. Most people can still read the words
right away. How about you?

I don't agree with the study; found that it was really hard to tell what some of the states were. Though true if word is spelled phonetically. Which many of the states were not (i.e. j's in weird places)

Its true. I was able to determine the correct states at a glance, even though they are horribly misspelled. Too bad it didn't help my speed. :) Since the purpose of written language is communication, now I have to re-evaluate my status of spelling snob. : /
