Top Ranked Universities of Europe Quiz Information

Spelling fixed. I was also surprised by the dominance of northern Europe. I think though that all university rankings are hampered a bit by the fact that they use mainly citations of papers in anglophone magaznies. There is a lot of science done in non-anglophone contries that is published, but it will not recieve the same amount of citations due to the fact that the larger science community is unable to easily read it!

There is a spelling typo on Cambridge. I am surprised that there is no representation in the southern areas of Europe and a few that are missing...Tübingen, Louvain, Gregorian and Innsbruck where I spent a few years of my life.

I wiggled the dots a bit - its crowded there. It should be better now, but its impossible to be fully accurate without overlapping the dots.

Is Sheffield more north than Manchester? I'm slightly surprised if that is the case.

It was impossible to fit all the text in for London and Paris, each city has three universities in the top 34.
