I read in The Times Americans don't ask about cars that are good for the nature. That scares me, I mean it isn't 1982 any longer, or 1956 or... You have a governor in California who likes Hummer better than any other car - that's a man to look up to. Rachel Carson wrote Silent Spring in 1962; hello, wake up!
