Fun stuff!
The 8 abreast question was very clever - though it presumes some impossibilities related to endurance and new infrastructure. But theoretically very cool.

Um, yea, It is hard to say the line would never end, are you saying that you are standing on the equater, and they are following it exactly? because, Unless they return past you, then the line will end, unless they are being born so quickly that the new ones would continue to march past you to eturnity.
