It's because they are the reason for the game, really. As in the game description, their rivalry brought all these creatures (and many more) to light of day.

As you can tell from my many dinosaur games, I love that subject, too.

This story is important in the discoveries.

I'd been putting off making this game for a year or two until I recently saw an American Experience documentary called "Dinosaur Wars". That prompted me to return to the concept.

There's also a book called "The Bone Wars" from about 10 years ago, but I never read it.
