I guess it doesn't hurt that the jury is Swedish. I'm not saying that they are partial in any way but the knowledge of potential laureates from Sweden is probably larger than from some other countries, my theory anyway. Nowadays when info flows more freely there are less Swedish laureates.
But I don't think Alfred would have minded that much, he was after all Swedish :)

Tricky game, but very interesting to play. You wrote before about Sweden's impressive representation among the world tennis' number ones; the same can be said for its share of Nobel prizes!
