Beautiful!
Lilili got a nice point.
Look at everything from more than one perspective. Actions are more important than words. There are only sides. Every side fights for what he believes in. Did he fight for what he believed in? for protecting the empire he served? or for personal fame (his father died young and he wanted to make his mark on history)? or maybe or probably all of them. But people looked up to him.
If you read the comment on dal his Time Of Israel game http://www.purposegames.com/game/0fc363ebca/info . When you put a human face on the heroes of the old testament. For example they call David his Leadership Sicilian Maffia Style. It's truly brutal and horrifying. But people worship him like Mozes. He won against Goliath and created and gave his people an Isrealite Empire (at the expense of current countries included complete genocide of innocent people). Not something one of Jewish belief would like to hear.
One of the core beliefs of nazism was imperialism and expansionism. I Think the words Lebensraum, Weltpolitik and Aryan Race say enough.

I can agree that he was a bit controversial at times but he was also one of the first ones to oppose Hitler in a time where the rest of the world was all to keen on pleasing him ,and I don't know if Nazism was imperialism...

Winston Churchill was one of the evilest men of the century. He supported fascism, promoted both Hitler and Mussolini, made his own anti-semitic rants against Bolshevism, was one of the first to advocate terror bombing of civilians first in Iraq and later in Germany. He also had millions starved to death in India while using mass violence against them to try to prevent their struggle for independence, and also used mass violence against Kenyan independence fighters. Pro-imperialist historians remember him as an "anti-fascist", but it is important to know that he supported fascism and only opposed fascist countries when their imperialism conflicted with British imperialism.

Great game! Heateh says some really wise words. You must look at things in different ways. That's for sure. I wonder what would have happened without this man?
