A point of detail:
When I was looking at scorpion anatomy drawings in several places, I noticed that opinions differed as to what exactly constitutes the two regions of the abdomen, the mesosoma (fore region) and the metasoma (tail).
The disagreement is over the 7th abdominal segment, the one that's narrower than the segments before it, but thicker than the ones behind it. Some sources treated that as the last segment of the mesosoma, others considered it to be the first segment of the metasoma.
I went with what seemed to be the majority view, but I didn't use a lot of sources, so my choice could be incorrect.
It doesn't really affect the play of the game, or the lives of the scorpions.
But I welcome anyone to delve further into the issue.
