tickman, your observation about the number ao stars in the Subaru-logo made me curious so I looked around and found this:
Why six stars in the logo? The five smaller stars represent the five companies that merged to form Fuji Heavy Industries (parent of Subaru) in 1953, while the sixth star represents the larger unified company.

Thanks tickman! Yes, I'm actually familiar with his other name gifts, being a big astronomy/astrology fan. I especially like the Subaru one, it sounds so cute! Pleiades really is a beautiful cluster.

Very nice. Did you know that this cluster is also known as the "Milk Dipper."
In Japan, it is known as Subaru. Notice the emblem on the cars (which only have 6 stars, though).
