Oh, a lot of these places have duplicates. More Eries (Ohio, Michigan), more Springfields than the two of us have listed together, another Hot Springs or two, at least one more Oasis, and more Waterfords.
If I wanted to be really mean, I could do Michigan's inland lakes. And only use names like:
Mud Lake, Deer Lake, Silver Lake, Round Lake, Long Lake, Crooked Lake, and so on.
Many duplicates.
Or creeks & rivers of the western half of the lower 48:
Snake river, dismal river, Cottonwood creek....
