I like this, it is interesting. Personally, I think that each of these regions should be it's own nation, but then, looking at the map, I think that each state should be a nation of it's own, not only these large ones. Five stars for sure.

Only 34 whole nations have populations greater than the smallest of these 8 subnational entities, meaning greater than 35 million people. And yet there are 31 subdivisions of India or China which exceed that population - more than I dared put into one game, and so which I spilled over into a second game.
You will probably find it easier to locate these eight locations than all those of India and China which have such large populations.
