Human Heart During Filling and Pumping
The heart is a muscular organ in all vertebrates responsible for pumping blood through the blood vessels by repeated, rhythmic contractions, or a similar structure in annelids, mollusks, and arthropods. The term cardiac (as in cardiology) means "related to the heart"

Why do you call them anterior and posterior vena cava? This seems like zootomical terms as vena cava runs vertically in humans rather than dorsoventrally.

Basic namegiving of the human heart during filling and pumping.
Since the SVG image from Mariana Ruiz VillarrealLadyofHats is brief and contains a naming error. I had added the necessary anatomical structures related during heart diastole-systole.
- Semilunar valve should be Semilunar valves.
- Antrioventricular valve should be Atrioventricular valves.
With both structure indications I have added the basic structures they refer to.
Two Important structures that cause the contraction when an electrical impulse travels through them are not indicated here namely:
- The Sinoatrial Node (SN)
and
- The Atrioventricular Node (AV)
An easy picture indicating these locations can be found here
