Great European Battles - Game Information

I see your dot as overlapping Sword and maybe Juno beaches a bit, but the other 3 are further up the peninsula. As I noted, the Normandy campaign went through the dot anyway, so no big deal.

But Balaklava is still in the wrong place, and I assume you'll move that, too.

In any case, making the changes is good game stewardship, which some of us regard quite highly.

Assuming the last correction (or 2) will show up, I rate 5 stars.

I stand corrected. The dots have been moved. The dot for Normandy however, is placed correctly, right at Omaha and Utah beaches, or as close as I could get on a large map of this scale.

Tours is in central France, not in the area of Marseilles.

The Spanish Armada engaged in a series of battles in the channel, so the dot is close to right for one of them. The sinkings were off the Irish coast, and more due to weather than war. I made a game on the subject:

Your games are usually quite good. This one doesn't match the rest:

Palermo is on the NW coast of Sicily; Gallipoli is in European Turkey (far NW), Balaklava is just west of the southern tip of the Crimean Peninsula.

Your Normandy dot may be in the province, and part of the battle was fought there. The most famed portion was on the peninsula, however.

These are easily-corrected errors. This is a pretty good game, and you might want to fix it.

Surely Tours is much further up, no? And are you sure the Spanish Armada sunk of the coast of Holland?
