But my RomanNumerator calculator says that 499=ID

Of course, in Roman Numerals, there are often a couple of ways to express a given number.

That's the simplest...

I think it should be CDXCIX :)
We are looking forward to the D game.

I really enjoyed this game and very interesting to figure out and compare all four view points.

Some notes:

The game is called "Four Universes" and not "Four Solar Systems", because until recent times, this was what people thought the universe was. Even Copernicus didn't know about asteroids, Uranus and Neptune.

I took some liberties with the orbits: spacing them to allow me to put in some of the secondary orbits you see. And the pointers, of course.

I also left out Ptolemy's elegant (but very incorrect) epicycles in the orbits of some of the planets. They're too difficult for someone at my level (lack of) of artistic skill.

Finally, nothing, absolutely nothing is to scale here.

There are a number of pages one could view for more information. You could go to Wikipedia and search for each of the astronomer's names given in the game.

These 2 pages cover the geocentric and heliocentric models:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geocentric

and

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heliocentrism

Finally, there is:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Almagest

This image isn't in any of these pages, since I created it.

For what it is worth, I release it to the public domain.
