I guess these numbers come from here:
The language of flowers, sometimes called floriography, was a Victorian-era means of communication in which various flowers and floral arrangements were used to send coded messages, allowing individuals to express feelings which otherwise could not be spoken

I learned never to give away an even number of roses except for funerals. Anything concerning love, affection or just gratitude has to be an uneven number, otherwise you'd severely offend the girl/addressee! Well, I'm sure there are regional differences, but this has always been a sacrosanct rule for me.

There are more numbers that means something but I left them out because their meaning wouldn't fit the clue box.
