First European countries to decriminalize homosexual acts - Game Information

Decriminalization doesn't always eliminate discrimination, which might continue especially if it is a conservative religious culture.
Turkey recently has taken a turn for the worse, with election of an Islamic fundamentalist party that has started beating people up for smoking or eating during Ramadan, has arrested a Sumerian scholar for revealing that the origins of the veil go back to the practices of prostitutes in ancient Sumer, and has done police raids on gay activist groups. Even before that, the Turkish government deprived children from their parents on grounds of homosexuality.
In the US for example homosexuality was decriminalized not too long ago, but there are still discriminatory laws related to recognition of marriage and ability to adopt.
These are just a few examples of how true equality for gays still has a ways to go even in most places where it has been decriminalized.

This is good, but how is the situation like for homosexuals in e.g. Turkey?

Soviet Russia decriminalized homosexuality in 1917, but this was reversed by Stalin in the 30s.
