This game and series is truly a collaborative effort of many Purpose Game Creators. Thanks to all of you who helped!
Broadly, the famous places represented here fall into three main categories, which were presented already in earlier games:
Famous Natural Sites
Famous Historical Sites
Famous Town
My idea is to offer this as a counterpoint to my earlier series "Populous, but Relatively Obscure", and its introductory set.
I got quite a lot of help for both series of games from Purpose Gamers including Niklas, Lilili, ron tag, jezour, tickman, Snavelaar, Wentu, Euhan, heateh, Arturo, danielgomes, jthventura, and Itachi.
Niklas, Lilili, ron tag, and jezour each put in quite a bit of thought in their diverse but helpful comments, and helped broaden the perspective for this necessarily subjective collection of spots.
A lot of spots on this one, but hopefully still distinguishable with the help of the adapted Calogero World Lands Map described here.
