Yeah sorry BoboLo but we call it the Tasmanian tiger here in Tasmania. Nobody here calls it the Tasmanian wolf.

Yes, you are right. I got mixed up between Tasmanian Devil, Tasmanian Tiger, and Tasmanian Wolf!

I believe you are mistaken Bobolo:
"Native to Australia and New Guinea, it is thought to have become extinct in the 20th century. It is commonly known as the Tasmanian Tiger (due to its striped back), the Tasmanian Wolf, and colloquially the Tassie (or Tazzy) Tiger or simply the Tiger."

I think there might be a mistake here. As far as I know, it's the Tasmanian wolf rather than Tasmanian tiger which is extinct. Certainly, the picture seems to be of a Tassie wolf.

An excellent but very sad game. There's quite a few Australian species there too to my surprise.

Recently, in 2006 alone, China's freshwater river dolphin, the Baiji, and the West African Black Rhino have become extinct.
Unfortunately many more are on the way...
